At present, Miltenberg is a lively, romantic and medieval town. The timber-frame houses create an inimitable feeling of German life in the 16th and 17th C. In the same way, the gabled houses in their pristine condition reinforce the impression of town virtually transported from the medieval age into modern times. Visit the historic market place "Schnatterloch". From here proceed to the nearby Amorbach, a romantic Baroque town, where you visit the Odenwald nature reserve.
