Question
How do I get to the ship from the airport?

Answer
Transfers are included, and you will be transferred from the airport to the ship and the ship to the airport on day of debarkation.

Question
Are meals included in the price?

Answer
All meals (except at the specialty restaurants) are included. That also includes room service!

Question
What do I have to pay for while I am on the cruise?

Answer
Anything in the gift shops, alchohol, sodas and the specialty restaurants. You can also purchse pictures of yourself taken around the ship by professional RCCL photographers. Tips for your cabin steward, waiter and assistant waiter are optional but appreciated.

Tipping is a personal matter, and your own judgment is the best guide. For your convenience, RCCL will automatically debit your onboard account a modest service charge per person per day. Should you wish to change the amount, contact the Pursers Desk. Bartenders, servers, deck stewards and other staff may be tipped as service is received. For your convenience, a 15% gratuity is added to beverage purchases automatically.

Question
What kind of entertainment is there on ship?

Answer
There is a Spa, a Casino, Golf Instructions, Bingo and and Headline Entertainers, just to name a few things to entertain you while onboard.

Question
What should I pack?

Answer
Daytime dress on a RCCL cruise is casual such as light, cotton clothing or swimwear with cover up when indoors. Tennis shoes or low-heeled walking shoes are recommended for exploring the ports of call. While most shore excursions do not have dress codes, some tours specifically prohibit shorts and sleeveless shirts, and require ladies to wear knee-length skirts or slacks. Most every night is informal, feel free to dress comfortably in resort attire, jackets are not required. There are typically one to two formal nights depending on the length of your cruise where you may choose to dress formally, elegantly in a suit for men and cocktail dress for the ladies, or more casually in elegant resort wear, as how you want to enjoy your night is up to you.

Question
Is there a gym on the ship?

Answer
A state-of-the-art fully equipted gym is onboard.

Question
Do I need a passport?

Answer
Yes. Effective December 31, 2006, the U.S. Government will require that all our U.S. citizens be in possession of a valid passport when traveling out of the United States.

Question
What do you do when the ship is in port?

Answer
There are a host of shore excursions that you can choose from. You can sign up onboard, or signup online before you travel. If you stay onboard you can relax by the pool, read a book or just hang out.

Question
Will I get seasick?

Answer
Chances are you will not. However, if you tend towards motion sickness, you can purchase something over the counter or see your Doctor before you go.
